Featuring live music\, sultry choreography\, and a delightfully over-the-top Russian dream ballet\, this is Fringe at its most fearless. \n“The mission of Opera del Sol is to bring opera to people who would normally not attend it\,” says Artistic Director and show writer Eric Pinder. “And what better way to do that than with hockey\, humor\, and a bunch of super attractive gay men? Just like in Cocaine Bear\, I’ve taken existing music and changed the lyrics to tell this story.” \nKnown for his signature style of reimagining familiar music with entirely new (and often hilarious) lyrics\, Pinder leans fully into the absurdity and heart of Fringe storytelling. \n“I’m uniquely qualified to write this show\, as my three major interests are hockey\, gay men\, and opera — not necessarily in that order\,” says Pinder.  \nPinder is joined by Music Director\, Victoria Wells (The Music Man\, in Concert and Operatic Double Bill) whose talent for delivering incredible musical performances promises the singing will shine.
