Illuminating the Mind: Exploring Brain Injury through The Light in the Piazza

Central Florida Vocal Arts (CFVA) is excited to offer partner with AdventHealth to facilitate community conversation through musical selections from our upcoming production of The Light In The Piazza.

This special event not only previews our upcoming production but also features an insightful discussion led by a Music Therapist and Speech and Language Pathologist from the amazing team at AdventHealth. With CFVA, the panel will explore relevant issues on understanding traumatic brain injury and more generally, neurodivergence of any kind. By exploring the themes presented in The Light in the Piazza, we aim to raise awareness and deepen understanding of the beauty of every brain’s unique perspective.

In line with our mission to make meaningful arts experiences accessible to all, both events are free and open to the public but please be sure to register beforehand as space is limited. This program is wonderful for music lovers, caregivers, those managing brain injury, stroke, dementia and neurodivergence, physicians and those with a passion for ongoing learning.
