The Frontyard Holiday Festival at Dr. Phillips Center, supported by AdventHealth, is more than just a festive gathering it’s a celebration of community, music, and holiday cheer. In a recent WESH interview, two of the festival’s featured performers, Gabriel Preiser of Opera Orlando and Kyla Carter of Central Florida Vocal Arts, shared their excitement about being part of this seasonal tradition and the role of the arts in bringing people together. Located at the iconic Seneff Arts Plaza and Frontyard, the festival invites guests to step into a joyful holiday atmosphere filled with live entertainment, glowing décor, and festive surprises around every corner.
Kyla described the preparation for the festival as intense but rewarding. She likened the performance season to a “playoff” for Orlando’s local artists, with months of rehearsals and coordination leading up to these public appearances. For her, the most meaningful part of participating is the opportunity to give back to the community and create “core memories for people for years to come.”
Both performers celebrated that the festival is free and accessible, reinforcing the importance of making the arts available to everyone. They encouraged families to bring children and experience live music, holiday carols, snowfall moments, and the festive ambiance, hoping to instill a love of music and the arts in the next generation.
While the festival features more than 80 live performances, glowing lights, snowfall effects, and interactive activities, the WESH interview underscores that its true magic comes from the people who bring it to life. The dedication, enthusiasm, and artistry of local performers, like our Central Florida Vocal Arts performers, are what turn the festival into an immersive holiday experience.Accessible, Inclusive, and Community-Focused
