2026-2027 Season Announcement

Central Florida Vocal Arts Unveils 2026–2027 Season: Of Dreams And Nightmares

From hopes for a better tomorrow to terrifying turns of fate, CFVA’s 15th anniversary season explores the fragile line between dreams and nightmares.

Orlando, FL,  May 29, 2026 — Central Florida Vocal Arts (CFVA) and Opera del Sol proudly announce their 2026–2027 season, Of Dreams and Nightmares — a bold theatrical journey through hope, fear, ambition, and transformation.

Fresh off recognition as the highest-grossing production at the 2026 Orlando International Fringe Festival, CFVA now enters its landmark 15th season with unprecedented momentum, expanding its artistic footprint and deepening its impact across Central Florida.

This season’s three mainstage productions examine what happens when certainty disappears and lives are forever changed. Through soaring contemporary music, cult horror comedy, and sharp social satire, audiences will experience stories that challenge expectations and celebrate resilience in the face of uncertainty.

“Each production explores what happens when the world we expect suddenly changes,” said Eric Pinder, Artistic Director. “These stories ask how we respond to uncertainty — through hope, fear, resilience, and ultimately transformation.”

For the first time in company history, all three mainstage productions will be presented at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, allowing CFVA to launch season ticket packages as the organization continues its rapid growth. Named the fastest-growing arts organization in the region in 2024 by Orlando Business Journal, CFVA continues to expand both its audience reach and community impact.

Community Engagement & Education

Beyond the stage, CFVA continues its commitment to arts education and community impact through partnerships with organizations including Boys & Girls Clubs, OCA – Opportunity, Community, Ability, Inc., Winter Park Library, and others throughout Central Florida.

The organization’s Arts 1:1 program — delivered in collaboration with Orange County Public Schools and Osceola County Public Schools — will continue providing free weekly voice lessons to students at Title I schools, expanding equitable access to high-quality arts education.

Throughout the season, CFVA will also appear at major regional events and festivals, including the Orlando International Fringe Festival, Creative City Project, FusionFest, and Tapestry: Winter Park Weekend of the Arts.
